Selection of multi-grade engine oil The viscosity range of multi-grade engine oil can span several viscosity levels, and it can be used in four seasons in certain areas. This has good low and high temperature starting performance, can improve the wear of the engine, and save fuel and oil. At present, it has been widely used in foreign countries, and the application of multi-grade engine oil in China is also becoming more and more extensive. Suitable 4-season universal multi-grade engine oil can be selected according to the annual *high temperature and *low temperature of the engine use area as the temperature range of use, so as to avoid the trouble of oil change in winter and summer and in different regions.
The selection of oil quality grade is based on the thermal condition of the engine. The oil quality grade of the four-stroke gasoline engine is mainly selected according to the compression ratio of the gasoline engine. The greater the compression ratio, the greater the thermal load, and the higher the temperature, the higher the quality of the oil required. Generally, if the compression ratio is greater than 7.0, you can choose SC grade oil; if the compression ratio is 7.08.0, you can choose SD grade oil; if the compression ratio is greater than 8.0, you can choose SE or above grade oil; if the compression ratio is above 10, you can Use high-quality engine oils such as SF, SG, and SH. The quality grade of diesel engine oil is mainly selected according to the thermal condition of the diesel engine. The thermal condition of the diesel engine is an important factor that affects the quality of the engine oil. The higher the load of the diesel engine, the higher the working temperature, the higher the boost ratio, and the greater the tendency of oil to coking and oxidative deterioration. Therefore, the higher the quality of the oil should be selected. The thermal condition of the diesel engine is mainly expressed by the strengthening coefficient of the diesel engine. If the strengthening coefficient is less than 50, use CC grade oil; if the strengthening coefficient is between 50 and 80, use CD grade oil; if the strengthening coefficient is greater than 80, use CE or CF or above grade oil.
