China’s heavy-duty automobile stamping manufacturing process

You may be in a hurry, my intention is about cars, and I want to tell everyone that this is not just the history of car development. I want to talk about used cars, car repairs, car manufacturing and new energy. But when I registered the number of titles, I didn’t consider it. This is an explanation. We will systematically introduce your knowledge about cars. In the next few days, four key technologies in automotive manufacturing (pressing, welding, painting and assembly) will be introduced. We will continue to introduce products such as new energy for automobiles.

People are capricious and the noble hearts that fell yesterday will be very high today. After making a decision, we must write down what we want to write. And the so-called silent rules should not be met. Please forgive me for freedom in my life. After night, the neon lights flash and you can see the windows back and forth between the school and the South East Auto Factory. I think a lot of people are looking at cars, but not everyone knows how to make a car. After all, the relevant automotive industry has also been open for the last decade. Even if I tell you about making a car, I hope someone who likes it. The main reason is to talk about cars, not to mention the car makers can’t justify. Yesterday’s markup was very simple. I put the mistake I made yesterday back into today’s pot. I hope I can write better.

The car starts from scratch. This car contains parts of various sizes.

All you have to do is put together these four major car manufacturing processes and answer this question.

In automobile factories, steel coils are punched from various types of sheet metal parts (5-door covers, louvers, ceilings, etc.) using punching devices such as punching machines and stamping dies. The sheet metal parts are sent to the welding factory for assembly immediately after the main body is assembled. The equipment used here is mainly welding torches, fixtures and robots.

With the development of industrial technology, artificial spot welding work has been replaced by robots, and the body is sent to the coating after assembly. Paint is a collection of core technologies of automobile manufacturers. Typically, the coating is sprayed at least 3 times. The first layer is mainly used for the anti-corrosion ED layer, the other two layers are mainly used for aesthetics and are placed in the final station of the final assembly station after painting is complete. The final assembly is mainly to assemble various accessories into the main body.

Engine transmission suspension tires, etc. After final assembly, the car is basically in production, but after final assembly it has to undergo rigorous testing. Only vehicles that pass the test will eventually be delivered to the customer.

What is stamping?

Pressing is the application of external forces to plates, belts, tubes and outer shapes by presses and dies that cause plastic deformation or separation. As a result, a method for forming a workpiece having a desired shape and size can be obtained.

On the press side, we will first talk about the punches of the main equipment and the dies used and other transportation equipment. At the press shop, these two devices are the most valuable. Now you have to invest in hundreds of millions of press lines. More technical content is mold making and mold repair. Take a look at the pictures of these devices.

What is stamping? The press is driven by a motor flywheel, and the drive gear drives the crank link mechanism via a clutch to move the slider up and down, and drives the drawing die to form a steel plate. Presses are one of the most important and most commonly used equipment in the four main processes of automotive manufacturing. This mainly depends on the pressure of the press processing the steel sheet in the die to form the shell of the car body.

As for the dies, various dies and tools for desired products are obtained by injection molding, blow molding, extrusion molding, die casting or forging, smelting, stamping and the like in industrial production. In a narrow sense, automotive is the common name for all stamped parts of a stamped body. Next, we also provide photos to give more people a sensory understanding of automobile stamping dies.

The green color in the photo is the automobile die, and in the manufacturing process, the die and the pressed steel plate work together to punch out the sheet metal parts of different automobiles with different dies. The main equipment is explained roughly. This section describes the main workflow of the press shop.

First, the purchased steel sheet is sent to the press line, washed with a washing machine, and then transported by a robot arm to the next station, that is, the first station for punching. It is then sent to the next workstation for trimming, then punched and folded. All of these operations are automatic. The final receipt is done manually for quality inspection and loading of stamped sheet metal parts. Also, there are 5 presses in the car factory for the press line. It can be said that everyone feels a drawback. Then it’s time to witness a miracle. please look at this photo

This car is actually made of a lot of metal. Anyone who knows the best will know that there are 4 doors and 2 covers, fenders, skilling boards, tail beams and more. Simply put, press shops press steel sheets against different sheet metal parts by mounting different stamping dies on press machines, which is the main task of automotive press shops. In fact, much work is still being done to ensure the normal production of sheet metal parts, including equipment maintenance and mold maintenance. These maintenances have not been introduced as they are for normal production of high quality sheet metal parts.
